Chick-fil-A Meadows is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team as Part-time Back of House Team Members. In our fast-paced, guest-focused environment, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our guests and introducing the Chick-fil-A brand to Alberta. As part of our team, your main responsibility will be to deliver exceptional guest service, including welcoming guests, taking orders, and serving food, while ensuring the work environment remains clean and safe.
Chick-fil-A Meadows is currently hiring various part-time back of house members to support the daily restaurant operations of Alberta's Chick-fil-A location.

Chick-fil-A opened its first Canadian restaurant in 2019. Chick-fil-A was officially founded in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy. He made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose — a practice we uphold today.
Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Represent, promote & maintain Chick-fil-A Meadows' Vision, Mission, Culture & Core Values of Chick-fil-A Meadows in all interactions with guests, team members, and vendors.
- Uphold the Core 4 principles: Create eye contact, share a smile, speak in a friendly tone, & say “My pleasure” when interacting with guests and vendors
- Exhibits care for guests and fellow team members every day;
- Fosters a healthy working relationship with the team;
- Upholds all policies and procedures to maintain quality standards;
- Takes initiative to support the team;
- Carefully prepares food based on orders in a timely manner, and upholds company standards;
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Performs tasks such as filleting and breading chicken, pressure-cooking chicken, and fries; and
- Ensures the back of the house is spotless, cleans dishes and ensures equipment is well-maintained.
- Follow all training standards specific to the Pathway Program and maintain consistency in operations.
- Demonstrate strong personal characteristics such as humility, a willingness to collaborate, and a desire to learn.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership to support business needs.

Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Monday-Saturdays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous experience in the food service industry is a plus
- Food safety certification is preferred, but not required
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
